The flat shape of the head of the sheath allows a high milking speed and provides the possibility of using a rather low level of pneumatic vacuum.
It is suitable for milking groups with a medium / heavy weight and can be used for heterogeneous nipples.
The short sheath allows to check the milk flow through the transparent cup and to replace the milk tube independently with respect to the long teat.
Silicone sheaths allow a delicate and completely hygienic milking thanks to the extraordinary elasticity of the material, the resistance to milk fat and the possibility of being sanitized at high temperatures. In consideration of these characteristics, the average life expectancy for this teat is 2,000 hours of milking or 6,000 milkings.
For an optimal performance of the silicone sheaths we strongly recommend the use of plastic cases and collectors in order to minimize the risks of cutting and tearing of the teats due to approximate finishing of the stainless steel materials.
